Mr. Huang from Dongshi Township, Yunlin County | Growing Organic Cucumbers
Mr. Huang has been cultivating colorful carrots, baby corn, and greenhouse organic cucumbers in Dongshi Township, Yunlin County, for many years. In the current crop (Fall 2019), he used Veggie Clean, Eco-Orange (citrus essential oil), and GGB's water-soluble neem oil for foliar disease and pest control. The cucumber foliage was dark green with no noticeable signs of disease, and there was minimal infestation by small insects like silverleaf whiteflies, aphids, and thrips. The harvest has been steady for over a month, extending the harvesting period and increasing both fruit and melon yields. This extended harvest has also reduced farming costs, leading to a noticeable boost in Mr. Huang's income.
